Lead Driver & Field Crew Member

Location: Greater Triad Area – North Carolina
Schedule: Full-time as jobs are scheduled (5+ days/week; occasional weekends as needed)
Compensation: $25/hour

Position Summary:

Outta Here NC, LLC is seeking a dependable and motivated Lead Driver & Field Crew Member to serve as the primary driver on all residential and commercial jobs. This role leads transportation logistics while actively supporting on-site execution from start to finish.

The Lead Driver is responsible for safely transporting materials, ensuring projects are completed to company standards, and representing Outta Here NC professionally during every client interaction. Depending on the scope of work, this position will operate a personal pickup truck (when applicable) or a company-rented 26ft box truck for larger projects.

This is a hands-on, field-based position that combines driving, coordination, and physical job support — ideal for someone who takes ownership, values reliability, and takes pride in delivering quality service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Driving & Logistics

  • Serve as the primary driver for all scheduled residential and commercial jobs.

  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload furniture, appliances, and materials.

  • Operate a personal pickup truck or company-rented 26ft box truck as required.

  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.

  • Maintain DOT and safety compliance while operating vehicles.

  • Obtain customer signatures and ensure accurate job documentation.

Field Operations

  • Support on-site setup, execution, and final clean-up.

  • Assist with handling, installation, and placement of furniture and appliances.

  • Safely maneuver large or heavy items (up to 100 lbs with assistance).

  • Maintain a professional, customer-focused presence at all times.

  • Follow company procedures and uphold Outta Here NC service standards.

  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, leadership, crew members, and customers.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required).

  • Preferably owns a pickup truck in good working condition.

  • Reliable transportation to and from dispatch location.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy items safely.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.

  • Must pass background check (no felonies within the past 10 years) and drug screening.

Preferred Experience

  • 1+ year experience in delivery driving, moving, furniture/appliance installation, or field labor.

  • Experience driving 16–26ft box trucks.

  • Basic knowledge of assembly and installation (training provided if needed).

Client Relations & Lead Planning Coordinator

Location: Remote
Schedule: Part-time (Hours based on business needs; occasional weekend availability may be required)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

Position Summary:

Outta Here NC, LLC is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Client Relations & Lead Planning Coordinator to serve as the central point of communication for the business. This role manages all inbound inquiries across phone, business email, and social media platforms while ensuring a seamless customer experience from first contact to job completion.

In addition to client communication, this position is responsible for scheduling services, dispatching crew members, and strategically tracking and mapping leads to optimize outreach efforts and identify high-potential service areas. This is an operations-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in coordination, communication, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Communication & Experience

  • Answer all inbound phone calls professionally and promptly.

  • Monitor and respond to inquiries via business email and social media platforms.

  • Provide accurate service information, pricing details, and scheduling availability.

  • Ensure clients receive timely follow-up communication.

  • Address client concerns and resolve issues professionally.

  • Maintain a positive, polished brand presence in every interaction.

Scheduling & Dispatch

  • Schedule residential and commercial service appointments.

  • Coordinate daily job logistics and dispatch crew members accordingly.

  • Confirm job details, locations, and special instructions with clients and field teams.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of scheduling updates and service notes.

  • Communicate changes quickly and efficiently to all relevant parties.

Lead Planning & Growth Support

  • Track and manage all inbound leads from call, email, and social platforms.

  • Maintain organized lead tracking systems to monitor inquiries and conversions.

  • Use mapping tools and industry insights to identify high-opportunity service areas.

  • Support outreach planning and growth initiatives.

  • Provide basic reporting on lead flow and scheduling trends.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in business, communications, or related field preferred.

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service, scheduling, dispatch, sales coordination, or operations preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Comfortable managing phone systems, email, social media platforms, and scheduling software.

  • Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.

  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver.

  • Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company confidently.

  • Reliable availability during scheduled hours.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in service-based, logistics, or field operations environments.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems or lead management tools.

  • Experience with dispatch coordination or route planning.

  • Basic understanding of mapping tools for territory planning.
